Wild Wild World : The majority of these were taken at the Jacksonville Zoo. It is a fantastic zoo and is getting better all the time! The birds were taken near sunset in Clearwater Beach, FL. All images Copyright 2007.

Wild Wild World

365 : This is my 365 project. I have to admit it's a frightening thing for me to do... 365 pictures of me?? The woman who has had about 7 pictures taken in the last 5 years? ARG! Scary. So, what made me take this on? I've been watching other photographers do this type of thing and have been so impressed by them! I definitely use my title as "photographer" to hide behind the camera so I thought this would be a great way to change that - at least a little. Another photographer wrote that she felt she was learning who she was and becoming comfortable in her own skin, and that's such a cool notion to me that I was inspired to try my own 365 days of torture (oops, did I say torture? I totally meant self-portraits.)
